A NEW BEGINNING

BIBLE READING : PSALM 128 : 1 – 6

As we express gratitude to God for the completion of one year it is appropriate to look at the keys that open the door to blessing in the coming year. These 2 keys are mentioned in verse. How is the first of them described in problem 9 : 10? The emphasis is on the fear of the Lord. If we truly fear the Lord, then the second key is not far from our grasp. The fear of God should naturally compel us to walk in his ways to walk in total obedience to his will. What better resolution can we make than this as we enter into the New Year? With the Holy Spirit giving us the strength to follow through with this resolve day by day, we shall be sure to experience much more than the specific blessings mentioned in V 3 – 6. do you want Gods blessings? Then fear obey his commands and do his will. Happy New Years in advance

Prayer: Heavenly Father, let your fear be in my heart at all times. Grant me the grace to continually do our will.
