Bible Reading : Ephesians 3:1-17
Exhortation:
Theme: “The heart is the centre of conflict.”
Lying to one another disrupts unity by down relationships and may lead to serious conflict in a church. The Christian church should have no barriers of nationality, race, education, social standing, wealth, religion or power. Christians should be in the business of building bridges, not walls.
Paul offers a strategy to help us live for God day by day- imitate Christ's merciful, forgiving attitude; let love (charity) guide your life; let the peace of God rule in your heard; always be thankful; keep God's word in you at all times; live as Jesus Christ's representative.
The key to forgiving others is remembering how much God has forgiven you. Is it to forgive someone who has wronged you a little when God has forgiven you so much? As a Christian you represent Chris at all times whenever you go and whatever you say. What impression do people have of Christ when they see or talk with you?
PRAYER: “May everything we do by word or deed be done to please the Lord”
